  • The School has a zero-tolerance policy regarding substance abuse including alcohol and tobacco. Any student found indulging in the same will be expelled from the school with immediate effect.
  • A cumulative Health record for each student is maintained in the infirmary. At the time of admission their record must be completed by a physician and duly signed by their parents. The school must be kept informed of any illness occurring during the vacation so that it can be entered in the record along with details of the medication given.
  • Children are not to be given any medication to keep with them. Any boarder taking homeopathic medicine must inform the Nursing Sister.
  • Permission for midterm medical checkups will be granted only in exceptional cases or on the advice of our school doctor.
  • Parents are advised to have their child's eyesight tested once during every vacation.
  • Immunization of the students is the sole responsibility of parents.
  • In the event of a student contracting a communicable ailment (e.g. chicken pox) or one that has protracted treatment (e.g. jaundice), parents will have to keep her under their care until her complete recovery.
  • Medical leave will be granted by the school doctor. On the return to the school, it is compulsory for the parent to deposit medical fitness certificate, all medical documents including the prescription at the school infirmary. In case where medical advice is needed from the specialized doctors, the school will take consultation from only those doctors who are listed in the panel. Parents will have to make their own arrangements if desire to consult any other doctor.
